圏外・機内モードでも使えますか？
はい。潮位はアプリに同梱した調和定数から端末内で計算するため、通信は不要です。購入手続き（App Store）以外の通信は一切行いません。電波の弱い磯・沖・船上でもそのまま動作します。もし表示がおかしい場合は、一度アプリを再起動してお試しください。
近くの港が出てきません / 位置情報を使いたくありません。
「近くの港をさがす」機能は、使用中のみ現在地を利用して最寄り港までの距離を計算します。位置情報の利用を許可しない場合でも、港名・都道府県で検索するか、お気に入りから港を選べば、すべての潮汐機能をご利用いただけます。現在地は距離計算に使ったのち即座に破棄され、端末の外に送信されることはありません。
他のアプリや潮汐表と潮位・満干時刻が少し違います。
表示する潮位は、調和定数にもとづいて端末内で計算した天文潮位です。各港の基準面（高さの基準）や採用する分潮、丸め方の違いにより、他の資料と数センチ・数分ずれることがあります。気圧・風・高潮などの気象条件によっても実際の潮位は変わります。航海には海上保安庁刊行の潮汐表等をご利用ください。
潮名（大潮・中潮など）が他アプリと1日ずれます。
潮名は月齢をもとに定めており、区切り方の違いによってアプリ間で1日ずれて表示されることがあります。これは定義の差によるもので不具合ではありません。アプリ内のヘルプで、Shiodokiが用いる区切りの基準を説明しています。
天気や波、水温は見られますか？
いいえ。Shiodokiは潮汐（潮位・満干・潮名・月齢・まづめ帯）だけを扱い、天気・波・水温・高潮は扱いません。これは恒久の方針です。気象条件により実際の潮位は変わるため、釣行前の天候・波の確認はご自身でお願いします。
Shiodoki Proでは何ができますか？ サブスクですか？
Shiodoki Proは¥1,000の買い切り（非消耗型）で、複数港のお気に入り・週間先読み無制限・通知・ウィジェットが使えます。サブスクリプションではなく、自動更新や追加の請求はありません。無料でもお気に入り1港のフル機能と週間3日先までがご利用いただけます。
購入の復元はどうすればいい？
「設定」から「購入を復元」をタップしてください。機種変更・再インストール後も、非消耗型のShiodoki Pro（¥1,000）を復元できます。購入時のApple Accountと同じアカウントでサインインしていることをご確認ください。
返金してほしいのですが。
決済・返金の手続きはすべてAppleが取り扱っており、当方側で直接返金することはできません。Appleのreportaproblem.apple.comから返金をお申し出ください。
データの出典はどこですか？
潮汐計算は、気象庁および海上保安庁海洋情報部が公開する潮汐調和定数を加工して作成したデータを使用しています。アプリ内の「設定 → 出典・クレジット」に、両庁の該当ページと取得日を記載しています。両庁が提供・公開するものではありません。

Does it work offline or in airplane mode?
Yes. Tides are computed on your device from harmonic constants bundled with the app, so no connection is needed. The app makes no network calls other than the App Store purchase flow. It runs the same on remote shorelines, offshore, and on a boat. If anything looks off, try restarting the app once.
Nearby ports don't appear / I don't want to share my location.
The "find nearby ports" feature uses your location, only while in use, to compute the distance to the nearest port. If you don't grant location access, you can still use every tide feature by searching ports by name or prefecture, or choosing from favorites. Your location is discarded immediately after the distance calculation and is never sent off the device.
The heights or high/low times differ a little from another app or tide table.
The heights shown are astronomical tides calculated on-device from harmonic constants. Differences of a few centimeters or minutes can arise from each port's datum (the height reference), the set of tidal constituents used, and rounding. Weather such as air pressure, wind, and storm surge also shifts the real water level. For navigation, use the tide tables published by the Japan Coast Guard.
The tide name is a day off from another app.
Tide names are derived from the moon's age, and different apps draw the boundaries differently, so the label can land a day apart. This is a definition difference, not a bug. The in-app help explains the boundaries Shiodoki uses.
Can I see weather, waves, or water temperature?
No. Shiodoki covers tides only (heights, highs and lows, tide name, moon age, and dawn/dusk windows). It does not cover weather, waves, water temperature, or storm surge, and that is a permanent decision. Because weather shifts the real water level, please check the weather and sea conditions yourself before heading out.
What does Shiodoki Pro include? Is it a subscription?
Shiodoki Pro is a one-time ¥1,000 (non-consumable) purchase for multiple favorite ports, unlimited weekly look-ahead, notifications, and the widget. It is not a subscription — no auto-renewal, no further charges. Even for free, one favorite port has the full feature set plus 3 days ahead in the weekly view.
How do I restore my purchase?
Tap "Restore Purchases" under Settings. After switching devices or reinstalling, you can restore the non-consumable Shiodoki Pro (¥1,000). Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account used for the purchase.
Can I get a refund?
All billing and refunds are handled by Apple; we cannot issue refunds directly. Request one at Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where does the data come from?
Tide calculations use data created by processing the tidal harmonic constants published by the Japan Meteorological Agency and the Japan Coast Guard, Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department. In-app, "Settings → Sources & Credits" lists each agency's page and the retrieval date. The app is not provided or endorsed by either agency.
